Miami Airboat runs private airboat tours into the Florida Everglades from Dade Corners, 17696 SW 8th St, on Tamiami Trail at the west edge of Miami. The idea is simple: your group, your boat, a captain who knows this water, and real distance out in the glades.
Where we ride
Our tours run open sawgrass and water in the Everglades and the Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area. Depending on the tour, you’ll cover about 8, 13 or 17 miles. Alligators, turtles and wading birds like herons, egrets and roseate spoonbills are regular sights. It’s wild country, so no two rides are the same.
How we run a tour
- Private tours are just your group. Our 1-hour semi-private ride carries no more than 11 passengers and departs at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.
- Your captain sets the pace for you: slowing down for photos, stopping for gators, answering questions along the way.
- Ice-filled cooler and bottled water on every boat. Bring your own food and drinks.
- Private sunset tours start at 4:30pm.

We’re at the Pilot Travel Center, 17696 SW 8th St, Miami FL 33194. Open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm, closed Sundays. Door-to-door pickup from anywhere in Miami-Dade County is available with our 1.5 and 2 hour private tours.
